In Proposition 62 says that criminals that have committed the most terrible crimes are able o stay alive on tax payers' expenses because it is less cheaper than executed the individuals and they will never be released. In the arguments, there is a side for against the proposition and one that is in favor of the proposition. Between the two sides I would most likely be against the proposition only because those people who have committed those terrible crimes must face the consequences of their actions. And within the argument against the proposition, the readers are able to see how strongly the authors feel about the topic and we are able to see that through their words. And by using such strong language to inflict an emotional reaction from the readers, they are influencing them to vote against the proposition. Also when the authors use specific examples to draw in the readers even more, it convinces them to choose their side and vote against the proposition. So by including such strong examples within this argument it convinces voters to disregard the opposing argument and convinces them to vote against the proposition.
